WELCOME TO THE BRITWRAP PROTECTIVE PACKAGING SITE
Traditional transport packaging methods such as disposable polythene and cardboard are expensive and damaging to the environment. Weir & Carmichael have designed the Britwrap Reusable Transit Covers, a new concept in transit packaging which offers a more cost effective solution for transporting bulky products.
Reusable protective packaging shields products during transit, eliminating any risk of damage whilst also cutting costs on transport packaging. Britwrap has also been designed to make manual handling easier for hard to carry and difficult to handle products such as Mattresses and Kitchen Worktops.

The Britwrap team were delighted to receive this award recognising the sustainability of Britwrap products, demonstrating Britwrap’s leadership in its commitment to the environment for Liverpool-based companies. Now the Liverpool ECHO Regional Business Awards, the Regional Business Awards sheds light on ‘businesses dedicated to building better workforces, creating a sustainable economy and healthy communities’, a message Britwrap is proud to endorse.

Nominated as one of the 25 UK representatives for innovation at the European Business Awards 2011
To represent the UK on a grand stage was a truly humbling experience for the Britwrap team, as well as being a valuable experience learning about like-minded businesses and how they are pursuing their goals and aims, which are similar to our own.
The European Business Awards is one of the most prestigious accolades a company can receive, as well as being one of the world’s largest cross-industry, cross border business competitions. Running since 2007, the European Business Awards has been rewarding the innovators, and ethical entrepreneurs of European business, stemming from the belief that businesses have a key role to play in facing the major issues faced by Europe and the world such as unemployment, climate change and poverty.

Runners up in the Merseyside Innovation Award 2011
Once again on a local level, Britwrap were pleased to be runners up in the Merseyside Innovation Awards 2011. Narrowly missing first place to some great competition, here Britwrap punched above its weight as an innovative packaging brand. Innovation is the key to dramatically improving product and service offerings and can enable products to benefit and reach beyond their normal potential. This, we feel characterises Britwrap perfectly.
The Merseyside Innovation Awards were created to recognise forwards-thinking entrepreneurs and inventors who are creating new and exciting innovations with the potential to transform industries, improve the lives of those living in local communities and to achieve things previously considered impossible.

Once again celebrating excellence in merseyside business, Britwrap were proud to be finalists in the innovation category at the Business in the Community Awards 2011. Here, the focus was on Britwrap’s enabling of instrumental cost-savings and improvements in handling for our customers, in addition to the sustainability element of Britwrap products. The brand’s continued success has created and maintained jobs for members of the community – a great way to give back.
